Target Darts scored a major coup recently, when it managed to sign on Phil Taylor, probably the world's most famous darter, over from Unicorn, for an industry-breaking sum of £3 million pounds.
Phil Taylor is the undisputed 16 time World Championship darts player and has won over 76 major titles worldwide. He has been playing exclusively on the cork board till now. Recently, he has been featured trying his hands on the Dartslive2 soft-tip board in UK recently. Target Darts will be launching his career into the soft-tip, with an initial launch of Phil Taylor Undisputed "The Power" custom designed soft tip as well as steel tip darts set.
Phil's soft-tip tungsten darts set can be differentiated by the tungsten content of the dart - Power 8ZERO, Power 9ZERO and Power 9FIVE. Phil Taylor will be using the Power 9FIVE model himself, which is designed to his detailed specifications.

The Box featured Phil Taylor in a Darth Vader like pose with lightning bolts swirling out of his hands. There are similar versions of darts for both the soft tip and steel tip making it easy for players to switch between both without having to use a converter tip.
